Who is suitable for counseling
The four most common groups of problems that people successfully work with in counseling with a modern psychologist
Difficulties in relationships with partners, parents, children, colleagues
A specialist will help you see destructive patterns of behavior, establish communication, understand your own and your partner's needs, and set personal boundaries.Problems with emotional state and self-regulation
The psychologist teaches self-regulation techniques, helps to find the root causes of emotional reactions, work through old traumas, and change attitudes towards situations that provoke difficult feelings.Life crises, adaptation to change and the search for meaning
The specialist provides support in living through the crisis, helps to find new supports and meanings, reassess values and build a new life plan that meets current realities.Problems with self-esteem, insecurity and personal boundaries
A psychologist helps to form an adequate, stable self-esteem, find your strengths, learn to defend personal boundaries, and reduce the influence of an internal critic.
How the consultation works
- The consultation is held with a 100% prepayment. The consultation must be paid for within 48 hours of booking the date (otherwise, the reservation will be canceled). If the consultation is canceled on the day of the session (without a valid reason), the prepayment is non-refundable.
- Please note, we reserve the right to change the date and time of the consultation in case of unforeseen circumstances. This is rare, but it is possible. We are committed to informing you as soon as possible and arranging an alternative date.
Who it is not suitable for
Lack of self-motivation
The person did not come for counseling of their own free will, but under pressure from relatives, a partner, management, or a court order. They do not see a problem in themselves and do not want to change anything.
Expectation of a "magic pill" and shifting responsibility
The client believes that the psychologist should give one piece of advice, perform a ritual, or apply a technique that will instantly solve all problems without his or her efforts.
Total confidence in one's own righteousness and blaming others
A person comes with a complaint about the environment (partner, parents, colleagues), being absolutely convinced that the problem is only with them. Any attempts by the psychologist to focus on the client's feelings, reactions, and contribution to the situation are met with resistance, denial, or aggression.
Search for ready-made solutions and advice, not self-help tools
People do not want to learn to understand themselves, their emotions and behavioral patterns. His request sounds like this: "Just tell me, should I get a divorce or not?", "What job should I choose?".
Systematic sabotage of the therapeutic process
This is manifested in constant lateness, last-minute cancellations, refusal to do homework, and "forgetting" key points of previous sessions.
Inability or categorical unwillingness to establish trust
The client treats the psychologist with excessive suspicion, hostility, and constantly devalues his or her words and methods.
